The Club had a stall at the Adelaide Animal Expo on April 23, 24 & 25th - it was a very successful and provided a wonderful  opportunity for members of the public to meet Newfoundlands and talk to their owners about the breed. With one exception, the Newfoundlands attending were all under 18 months and all were excellent ambassadors of the breed.

    Grooming Workshop - October 2016

The topic requested for the annual get together this tear was grooming. We were fortunate to have Ian Harland  demonstrate the basic techniques of grooming on a very patient 'Banjo' then answer specific questions. All present received a sample pack of Petway grooming products, ciurtesy of Steven Cooper from Treat Your Dog.

Before lunch several presentations were made. Two were acknowledging the achievements of Newfs in conformation and community service and another was to a Club member who, over the years, has provided a 'forever home' for 4 Newfs in need.

The Annual General Meeting of the Newfoundland Club of South Australia Inc was held on Nov 23rd, 2016.
